Is this an unidentified flying object?

Pictures taken by me this evening looking over Daventry.
Yesterday the end of the world seemed nigh.
Today heralded a new beginning - calm, sunny, warm. The leaves that covered my lawn yesterday from every tree in the neighbourhood had all but disappeared this morning. Had they been swept away by an alien power?
If this is what aliens do they are more than welcome here.
Mind you, I have always had my doubts about some of the objects standing and sitting outside Costa Coffee with their 'fags', tattoos and mobile phones in weather more suited to aliens than to humans
