Busy doing nothing!

Other people's sightseeing is not always of interest, but as Norm is recuperating from knee surgery in Georgia he may need something to fill the hours.

This is the 'centre ville' of Bandol. The sea is behind me but views of bars, fountains and flowers are worth looking at in this weather.

This happens to be a table at the Restaurant le Marché but again, thanks to the weather, could be anywhere in the biggest restaurant in the world - the streets of France!

The sea at Bandol is used to the full. Right behind me is the departure point for the Ile de Bendor ferry, seen here arriving back from its ten minute trip.

And here on Bendor is another piece of the biggest restaurant.

 There are other views, like this seagull - well just look a bit harder;

or these flowers growing where no flowers could possibly survive;

or this diver (arrowed in pink).  I took this picture at Cassis just up the coast, but the scenery is typical and I couldn't find another diver on Bendor;

or the rather swish Hotel Delors.

If your purse doesn't quite match the prices there, you can always return to Bandol and go to La Marrakech where the somewhat white-slaver looking patron charms the ladies out of almost everything while serving a passable Moroccan wine with food to match.

And when you have taken your fill you can just wander back to the apartment and take in the night views; like this cruise liner having departed  Marseille way to your right;

or the view over the Casino.

What a busy day!
